Pre-OP and Recovery Staff

After Surgery:

Before you leave The Surgery Center, you will be given written instructions for your care at home.

After you have returned home, be sure to follow your doctor's orders regarding diet, rest and medication.  It is not unusual to feel a little sleepy for several hours after your operation.

Do not drink alcoholic beverages, drive a vehicle, sign important papers or perform any other activities which require balance, coordination, or alertness for 24 hours after your operation.

A nurse from The Surgery Center will phone you within 72 hours after your surgery to see how you are feeling and answer any questions that you may have.  If we have been unable to reach you within 72 hours, please contact our facility.
